* Kisszeben, November 10, 1873 – † Košice, December 25, 1955 / Roman Catholic priest, teacher, historian ; ; He began his schooling in his hometown, studied at the Košice and Prešov gymnasiums, graduating from the latter in 1891. He completed his theology studies at the seminaries in Košice and Cluj-Napoca, and was ordained a priest in 1896. He served as a priest in various settlements, then taught religious education at the Catholic high school in Prešov. Between 1921 and 1944, he was a professor at the Košice theological college. In his youth, he also wrote short stories, and later he primarily dealt with the history of Košice.
