* Gölnicbánya, April 6, 1854 – † Sopron, January 16, 1928 / mining engineer, chief mining advisor, college teacher ; ; In 1877, he obtained a mining engineering diploma from the Selmecbánya Mining and Forestry Academy. Between 1877 and 1902, he served in various mines around Selmecbánya (Szélakna, Istenáldás, Finsterort, Brennertáró, Hodrusbánya). Between 1902 and 1926, due to the relocation of the Selmecbánya academy, and after 1918, due to the relocation of the Selmec academy, he was a professor at the Department of Geodesy and Mine Metrology at the Sopron Mining and Forestry Academy. He primarily dealt with the geodetic surveying of mines and the construction of mining geodetic instruments. ; ; His main work is the textbook Practical Mining Surveying (1904).
