* Németpróna, March 14, 1855 – † Budapest, March 8, 1912 / mineral chemist ; ; He completed his secondary school studies in Léva, Bánya Beszterce and Nyitra. At the University of Science in Budapest, he mainly studied chemistry, but also mineralogy, mathematics and physics. After obtaining his secondary school teacher's diploma (1880), he continued his studies in Vienna. In 1880, he also completed a gymnasium teacher's course. From 1882 until his death, he worked as a chemist at the MNM. In addition to domestic and foreign minerals, he analyzed many new minerals discovered by József Sándor Krenner and many archaeological objects. He improved several analytical methods and was also involved in determining the chemical structure of minerals. He was a collaborator on the Handbuch der Mineralchemie of the Vienna University of Science and Technology professor Cornelio August Doelter (1850–1930).
