* Stubnyafürdő, 1890 – † Ajka, May 20, 1944 / chemical engineer ; ; He finished high school in Vác and Szatmár, then graduated from the Budapest University of Technology. He fought through World War I. After returning home from Serbian captivity, he worked in the Kossuch glass company’s factory in Katalinhuta (now part of Szinóbánya) in the Upper Hungary from 1920, and in Parád from 1928. From 1930 he was the chief engineer of the Ajka Glass Factory, and from 1942 until his death, its director. In 1937, the factory won the great gold medal of the National Chamber of Industry. The so-called “Hungarian crystal” was made here and had an impact with the power of innovation, which is a worthy competitor to stained glass. In 1943, he published the book “Art in Industry” At the exhibition, the factory's products won the silver medal of the Minister of Industry.
