* Fenyőháza, September 9, 1879 – † Budapest, November 21, 1942 / electrical engineer, editor-in-chief ; ; He obtained his mechanical engineering degree in 1901 from the Budapest University of Technology. He began his professional career at the Ganz Electricity Co. Ltd. and, as an employee of the installation department, built several foreign electrical works until 1908. He also worked for other, smaller companies and was also a co-owner of a company. Between 1909 and 1911, he was the editor-in-chief of the official journal of the Hungarian Electrical Engineering Association, Elektrotechnika. He was a member of the board or director of various scientific and technical societies (Hungarian Engineers and Architects Association, Technical, Electrical Engineering and War Metals Committee, Hungarian City and Municipality Development Co. Ltd., etc.). In 1927, he became the deputy secretary general of the Széchenyi Scientific Society, which was founded to promote Hungarian scientific research. He played a major role in organizing the manganese mining in Úrkút and in building the energy supply of some Hungarian cities.
