* Varannó, January 23, 1834 – † Tótsóvár, August 13, 1907 / entomologist, lepidopteran researcher ; ; His father, Ede Dahlström, was a pharmacist. After completing his elementary school education, he studied as a merchant, then became an employee of the savings bank in Prešov, later its director. In addition to his work, he dealt with the lepidopteran fauna of present-day Eastern Slovakia. He published his papers primarily in the Entomological Journals. The majority of his insect collection (mainly the species of lepidopterans belonging to the Macrolepidoptera group) is now in the MNM, and a further part was placed in the Rákóczi Museum in Košice. He died during a research trip.
