* Varannó, January 8, 1883 – † Budapest, April 21, 1972 / veterinarian, microbiologist ; ; He graduated from the Budapest Veterinary College in 1904 and received his doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1926. He was a state veterinarian in Kunszentmiklós (1904–1914). He served as a veterinary lieutenant in World War I (1914–1916). From 1916 he worked at the Laboratory Rt. Vaccine Production Institute, which, after several reorganizations, merged into the Phylaxia Vaccine Production Institute (1948). His observations on the production and practical application of vaccines against epidemic animal diseases are significant. Several of his scientific publications were published in Hungarian journals. In 1952 he obtained the title of candidate of veterinary science.
