* Roskovány, 1857 – † Budapest, 1946 / mechanical engineer ; ; Jenő Bánó's younger brother. He obtained a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Zurich in 1878. After returning home, he first headed the drafting department of the Röck factory, then was the workshop manager of the Ganz és Társa machine factory in Budapest. He designed the technical equipment of several significant buildings and facilities and supervised their implementation. Among other things, the mechanical and heating equipment of the Ikervár hydroelectric power plant, the Füzfő gunpowder factory, several university clinics and hospitals in Budapest, the Opera House, the National Theatre, the Salgótarján and Dorog coal mines, and the Debrecen clinics are all linked to his name. In 1926, he was awarded the title of Chief Government Advisor.
