* Szenice, October 21, 1837 – † Nagyszombat, August 31, 1886 / teacher, textbook writer, specialist writer ; ; He completed his junior high school in Szakolca and his senior high school in Bratislava. He completed the teacher training course in Érsekújvár, then taught in Nádas, Sándorfá and Nagylenárd. Between 1859 and 1865 he was a cantor teacher in Zohor. From June 1865 he worked as a principal in Malacky. From 1869 to 1872 he was a teacher training course in Besztercebánya, from 1872 in Nagyszombat, and from June 1873 he was its principal. In September 1882 he founded the Catholic public teachers' association, of which he was elected president. He is especially known for the Népnevelő (Public Educator) magazine, which he founded and edited. His writings were published in the journal, and he also edited the Népiskolai Tanügyi Figyelő. He primarily wrote geography textbooks and arithmetic exercise books in Hungarian, German and Slovak.
