* Bratislava, 14 August 1689 – † Bratislava, 4 May 1732 / physician, botanist ; ; From 1710 he studied at the universities of Jena and Erfurt. He became a doctor of medicine in 1714. He was a practicing physician in Bazin and from 1718 in Bratislava. He was primarily known as a pediatrician. He botanized in the Bratislava area and introduced the Sopron-born Charles Frederick Loew (1699–1741) to botany. His work Flora pannonica seu Posoniensis is lost in manuscript. He was a member of the Austrian Academy of Natural Sciences. ; ; His main works: Disputatio medica de morbo patechiali epidemico, 1716.
