The oldest known tipiary of Vága dates from 1689. Its inscription: SEAL OF THE VILLAGE OF VÁGA OF S. ADALBERTUS 1689. ; The document written around May 27-31, 1326, which concerns Vága, states: The Esztergom Chapter, in the person of the provost Theophil, proves that Gergely comes, son of Gergely Gyarmati, gives the village of Vága in Bratislava County with all its benefits, accessories, mills and everything that is there to Boleszló, Archbishop of Esztergom, in return for his debt.
