Peter Vegh

* Nagymegyer, July 24, 1954 / mechanical engineer, cybernetics, associate professor ; ; His father is a ref. pastor. He completed his primary and secondary school studies in his hometown, graduating in 1972. In 1997, he obtained an engineering diploma from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. In 1980, he also obtained a specialist teacher qualification there. Between 1978 and 1989, he was an engineer at the Slovak Technical Glass Factory in Bratislava, and between 1989 and 1994, he worked as an employee of the State Pedagogical Institute in Bratislava. From 1996 to 2008, he worked in the rector's office of the Slovak University of Technology, but from 1994 to the present, he has also been an employee of the Institute of Automation and Informatics of the university. He obtained his PhD degree in 1999 and was habilitated as an associate professor in 2009. His research interests include the application of automation and informatics in the control of technical equipment.
