Bratislava / Poet, journalist, teacher ; ; Born in Lelesz in November 1930, he earned a teaching certificate from the Hungarian Pedagogical College in Bratislava in 1953. He appeared in our literature together with Árpád Ozsvald and János Veres, with their joint volume Three Young Poets. He began his career as a teacher. Between 1953 and 1961, he was the columnist for Új Ifjúság in Bratislava. In 1961, he moved back to Lelesz. Until 1963, he worked as a teacher and worker, then between 1964 and 1976, he worked as a principal and teacher in Abará, and in 1977, he became the editor, reporter, and columnist for Új Szó. His first independent volume, Fényért perelek, was published in 1968. ; He was a member of the Central Committee of the Csemadok for 20 years. ; He was the poet of a specific region, the Bodrogköz, who, organically integrated into the landscape and paying attention to the troubles and troubles of the people of the region, took his confessions into traditional poetic form.
