* Jászó, January 1, 1848 – † Kiskapos, November 6, 1911 / Premontrean monk, local historian, teacher ; ; He entered the Premontrean order in 1868, and was ordained a priest in 1874. He taught in Rozsnyó and then Košice between 1872 and 1878. In 1883, he earned a teaching certificate in geography and history and a doctorate from the University of Budapest. In 1886, he was transferred from Košice to Rozsnyó again, where he taught Hungarian language, geography and history at the Catholic high school, and was later appointed director. In 1896, he moved to Kiskapos, where he served as a parish priest until his death. He was a member of several cultural and social associations and supported the work of the Museum Association of Upper Hungary.
