From 1984 to 2007 he taught at the Department of Mathematics of the Technical University of Košice, but between 1999 and 2006 he lectured on financial and insurance mathematics, stochastic processes and stochastic analysis at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences of the Šafárik University of Košice. ; In 1994 he received his PhD in the theory of probability and mathematical statistics from the Comenius University. In 2000 he was habilitated as an associate professor of applied mathematics at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. His research interests include the theory of probability and mathematical statistics, stochastic differential equations, research on multivariate statistical and numerical methods, and data approximation and smoothing. He has participated in several international scientific projects. So far, about 80 of his theses, some of his university notes and textbooks written with co-authors have been published. ; ; His main works: ; Introduction to the theory of probability and mathematical statistics, 1992, ; Graphics and Animation in the MS I-II., 2001, ; Numerical Solutions of Stochastic Differential Equations Using C# Modeling (with E.
