* Győr, 17 December 1699 – † Bratislava, 7 April 1770 / doctor, chemist ; ; He began his high school studies in 1711 in Banská Bystrica and finished them in Bratislava. He probably followed Mátyás Bél, who became the director of the Bratislava Evangelical Lyceum from 1714. Between 1715 and 1718 he studied theology and philosophy in Halle. In 1718 he returned home and studied medicine and pharmacy in Banská Bystrica with Károly Ottó Moller (Banská Bystrica). He finished his medical studies in Halle in 1724. After military medical service, he was the chief physician of Komárom County from 1726, and of Esztergom County from 1727, the family physician of Count Palatine Miklós Pálffy from 1731 to 1740, and the city physician of Bratislava from 1740 until his death. He also contributed to the collection of material for Mátyás Bél's Notitiái. Several of his health, epidemiology, balneology, and local history studies were published. He did pioneering work in the field of analyzing and describing Hungarian medicinal waters. He also compiled the first domestic pharmacist price standard, which also lists the duties and rights of doctors, surgeons, pharmacists, midwives, and bathers. In February 1764, he founded the Bratislava Medical Society (Collegium medicum), but it ceased to exist after a few months. In addition to his doctoral dissertation (Dissertatio inauguralis medica de febre petechiali, 1724), 9 of his known works were published in Bratislava.
