From 1907 to 1913 he worked for the Ganz Wagon Factory. From 1913 he taught at the Department of Mining Engineering No. II of the Selmecbánya Mining and Forestry College, and from 1919 he was a professor at the Sopron College. He was rector in 1924–1926, and director of the college's central library from 1930 to 1952. Between 1930 and 1950 he edited the multilingual Bulletins, through which he established contact with almost all scientific and technical institutes in Europe and, in 1940, with similar institutions in the USSR. As an expert, he participated in the organization, modernization and review of several major facilities (the flotation plant of the Recsk ore mine, etc.). In 1952, he was transferred to the Mining Design Institute in Budapest. His scientific research work primarily covered the field of mine transport machines, mine dewatering plants and energy management in mines.
