Vága, September 21, 1968; At the end of the sixties, the deceased, laid in a coffin, was cremated in the clean room, with their head towards the window and their feet towards the door, a rosary or prayer book was placed in their hands, and burning candles were placed on both sides of the coffin. The farewell took place inside the house, or in the yard if the weather was good.
