* Rózsavölgy, July 27, 1669 – † Nagyszombat, September 30, 1729 / Jesuit priest, jurist, philosopher, theologian, university professor ; ; He studied philosophy at the University of Vienna and theology at the University of Graz, where he began his teaching career, and then became a professor of philosophy, canon law, and theology in Nagyszombat. He held the position of chancellor at the university in 1712–1714 and 1722–1727, and was also rector twice (in 1719–1721, then in 1729). Several of his ecclesiastical works written in Latin were translated into Hungarian.
