* Prešov, 20 January 1747 – † Szinyér, 19 September 1812 / local historian, county official ; ; He completed his primary school education in Sátoraljaújhely, later studied in Prešov and in the Košice convict school. In 1764 he entered the civil service, in 1777 he became the chief notary of Zemplén County, in 1787 he became a court councilor and a judge of the royal board of Prešov. In the second half of the 1790s his official career was interrupted, presumably due to his liberal views and his writings depicting the imperial court in an ironic tone. He published studies, articles on social theory and poems. He was a very prolific author, and his works describing Zemplén and Szatmár counties, illustrated with maps, are valuable for posterity. ; ; His main works: ; Explanation of the words that occur in Hungarian civil and legal matters, with some shorter forms, 1806, ; Codex de delictis, eorumque poenis pro tribunalibus regni Ungariae partiumque eidem ; adnexarum per regnicolarem juridicam deputationem approbatus. Referente... cui concredita fuit elaboratio, 1807, ; The location, history and civil size of Szathmár County, 1809/1810, ; On the planting of the Tokaj or foothills vineyards, the making and preservation of wines, 1810. Many of his studies remained in manuscript.
