St. Andrew's Chapel
Other - other
Saint Andrew was one of the twelve disciples who witnessed Jesus' earthly work. He is a very important figure in the memory of the Hungarian nation. Therefore, it is no coincidence that most of the first Christian churches built in the Carpathian Basin were built in honor of Saint Andrew. The Catholic chapel of the village also bears his name. It was built in 1862-64. Unfortunately, it was severely damaged during World War II and has been in a dilapidated condition ever since. The only remaining piece of furniture is a painting depicting the village's other patron saint, Saint Peter. A cross stood in front of the chapel, which was renovated and placed in the village cemetery.
