Zoltán Szenássy

* Komárom, October 10, 1925 – † Komárom, November 28, 2011 / teacher, local historian ; ; He graduated from Pápán (1944), and obtained a teaching certificate in Hungarian history from the Faculty of Education of the University of Bratislava (1955). From 1951 to 1985, he was a teacher at the Hungarian Gymnasium in Komárom, but he worked as a lecturer until 1991. As a local historian, he primarily dealt with the landmarks and famous personalities of Komárom, and the past of the city and its surroundings. He also wrote educational articles and gave lectures on this. In 2000, he initiated the relaunch of the Jókai Public Education and Museum Association.
