* Körmöcbánya, November 29, 1896 – † Budapest, February 10, 1972 / smelter engineer, university professor ; ; He started his schooling in his hometown. He completed his engineering studies at the Mining and Forestry Academy in Selmecbánya and then in Sopron. Between 1922 and 1944 he was a smelter engineer at the Diósgyőr ironworks. From 1945 he worked in various positions at the Ministry of Industry – later the Ministry of Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering. In 1954 he became deputy director of the Iron Industry Research Institute, and from 1956 he was also a professor of the iron metallurgy department at the Technical University of Heavy Industry in Miskolc. In recognition of his professional merits he was awarded the Wahlner Aladár and Fasola Henrik Memorial Medal.
