* Kisgaram, October 6, 1841 – † Selmecbánya, October 8, 1895 / royal chief forest advisor, forest engineer, academy teacher ; ; He completed his secondary school studies in Besztercebánya in 1859. He graduated from the Selmecbánya Mining and Forestry Academy in 1862, took the forestry state exam in Buda in 1864, but already in 1862 he entered service at the Selmec Mining, Forestry and Livestock Directorate. In 1867 he became an assistant teacher at the Selmecbánya Academy, then from 1871 he became an extraordinary teacher, and from 1878 he became a regular teacher. The use of the Hungarian language was officially introduced at the academy in 1867, and Zsigmond Szécsi himself worked hard to develop the Hungarian forestry language.
