* Szímő, July 29, 1951 – / ethnographer ; ; He began his schooling in his native village, graduating from the Nagysurány Vocational School in 1970. He earned a diploma in ethnography and history from the ELTE BTK in Budapest in 1978, a doctorate there in 1990, and a PhD in 2001. Since 1978, he has been an ethnographer and museologist at the Somogy County Museums Directorate in Kaposvár, and since 1991, he has been its deputy director.
