* Sajószárnya, January 9, 1956 – / linguist, university lecturer ; ; He graduated from the Tornalja gymnasium and obtained a Slovak-Hungarian teaching certificate from the Comenius University in Bratislava in 1979. Between 1979 and 1990, he was a lecturer at the Department of Hungarian Language and Literature at the Comenius University. Between 1990 and 2009, he was a freelance linguist, translator and interpreter. He is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Central European Studies at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. In 2001, he was one of the founders of the Gramma Association and Language Office in Dunaszerdahely, of which he is the head. His research interests include Slovak-Hungarian contrastive linguistics, sociolinguistics, language and educational policy, translation theory and practice, and minority language planning. He has published numerous articles on these topics in Hungarian, Slovak, English and German in Slovak, Hungarian and other foreign journals. He publishes his popularization and language development articles in Slovak Hungarian newspapers.
