* Beje, January 31, 1841 – † Košice, September 27, 1909 / teacher, church writer, historian ; ; He completed his secondary school studies at the Premontre Gymnasium in Rožňava (1858), studied theology in Jászón and entered the Premontre Order of Canons, and took the teaching exam in Pest. He taught natural science and quantity science in Nagyvárad from 1861 to 1865, and at the Košice High Gymnasium from 1865 to 1898, and was its director from 1892. He also presented a philosophical encyclopedia at the Royal Law Academy in Košice from 1875 to 1898. ; From 1898 until his death, he was the director of the Royal Convict in Košice. He was one of the founders of the Museum of Upper Hungary, its secretary between 1872 and 1892, and then its president until 1900. He also organized a collection for the institution (34,000 forints were collected). He was the founder and president of the Kazinczy Circle. He wrote studies on church, pedagogical and cultural history, and obituaries.
