* Szepesolaszi, 1570 c. – † Levoca, 11 June 1654 / physician ; ; His name is sometimes written as Spielenberg. He obtained his doctorate in Basel. He began his medical practice in Levoca and soon gained national fame. He was also the personal physician of the Prince of Transylvania, Gábor Bethlen, and was invited to consult with Emperor Matthias II. and King of Hungary at his sickbed. He founded the first paper factory in Hungary on his estate near Levoca, ; Teplice.
