David Spielenberger Jr.

* Levoča, 1660 – † Levoča, 12 January 1730 / doctor of medicine, mining entrepreneur ; ; He began his studies in his hometown, was a medical student in Jena in 1681–1683, and in Leiden in 1684–1685, and obtained his doctorate in medicine. Upon returning home, he became a city physician in Levoča. In 1722, he received the title of royal butler and the noble surname Spielenbergi from Charles III. Spielenberger wrote his medical treatise Dávid on the medical works of Aristotle. His other work: Disputatio Medica Inauguralis De Morbis Periodicis…, 1685.
