Spanish Glycerin

* Néver, October 20, 1781 – † Pest, November 28, 1850 / Piarist priest teacher, historian, principal of the high school; ; He entered the order of the faithful in Nyitra at the age of 18. After his novice years in Trencsén, he taught as a student priest (1801–1803: Podolin, 1803–1804: Sátoraljaújhely, 1804–1805: Debrecen). He completed his liberal arts course in Vác, his theology in Nyitra, and obtained his doctorate in humanities in Pest. He taught in Pest in 1809–1810, and then in Vác for nearly two decades, at the lyceum. He was the principal of the Piarist high school in Szeged in 1829–1832, and then until 1840 of the Buda Piarist high school, and the head of the monastery. In the last decade of his life, he worked as a department head of the study committee of the Buda governor's council.
