* Rimaszombat, December 9, 1966 – / historian, university lecturer ; ; He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown, graduating in 1984. In 1989 he obtained a teaching certificate in Hungarian history from the Comenius University in Bratislava, and in 2005 he received his PhD degree from the University of Pécs. From 1989 he taught first at the primary school in Bátka and then at the Vámbéry Ármin High School in Dunaszerdahely. Since 2001 he has been a colleague of the Forum Minority Research Institute in Somorja, and since 2005 he has been a lecturer at the Selye János University in Komárom, head of the Department of History of the Teacher Training Faculty. His research area is the history of Hungarians in Slovakia between the two world wars. ; He is the author of several textbooks – partly written together with László Kovács – (The History of the Hungarian People from the Conquest to the Peace of Szatmár, 1997, The History of the Hungarian People from 1711 to 1918, 1998, The History of the Hungarian People in the 20th Century, 2000, History I-II., 2006–2007) and methodological aids and workbooks. He is an organizer and regular speaker at professional conferences. He edited the publication The System Change and the Hungarians in Czechoslovakia I-II. (2009, 2010) with Árpád Popély, and has also compiled and edited other minority research works.
