* January 1, 1947, Simonyi - / teacher, public figure, active member of the Csemadok ; ; He spent his childhood in his native village, Simonyi. After graduating from the Feled primary school, he graduated from the famous Fülek high school with a long history. He obtained his Hungarian-Slovak teaching certificate in Nyitra in 1969. He began his teaching career in Újbást. In 1973, he married Elemér Sebők in Zsíp. They had two sons, Attila and Gábor. They moved to Rimaszombat in 1980. He taught in Rimaszécs until 1991. At that time, he was appointed to the methodology department of the District Education Office as a specialist. From 1993 to 2002, he served as the principal of the Ferenczy István Hungarian Language Elementary School in Rimaszombat. As a pensioner, he taught at this school for another year, then at the Feledi Szombathy Viktor Hungarian Language Elementary School. He was a member and chairman of the Civil Affairs Committee of the Rimaszombat City Office for four election periods. Since 2004, he has been the methodological head of the Feledi Micro-Regional Educational Office. In the 2005/2006 school year, he was asked to perform the duties of director of the Tompa Mihály Reformed High School in Rimaszombat. With his personality, work and activities, he represents a real value for the Gömör community. ; ; He has been a member of the Csemadok since his high school days. During his student years, he performed as a member of folk dance, singing, variety and acting groups. From 1973, as the chairman of the Zsípi basic organization, he organized variety shows and competitions. In Rimaszécs, he staged several plays with the Sajócska theatre group, and with A csodakarikás they also made it to the Duna Menti Tavasz. From 1975 until today, with minor interruptions, he has been a member of the Rimaszombat Regional Committee of the Csemadok and has been its president for three election periods. He participated in the organization of the Tompa Mihály Poetry and Prose Recitation Competition from the beginning. He was the originator and implementer of the Ferenczy István Fine Arts and Literature Competition, the initiator of the literary café (Pósa Lajos Public Education Café) and the caretaker of the Slovak language recitation competition for Hungarian-language schools called Dobré slovo. He actively participated in the traditional events of the regional committee and expanded them by organizing a program for each of the current commemorative years, e.g.: he organized a memorial tour to the Museum of the Hungarian Language in connection with the Kazinczy Memorial Year, a concert and conference in the Liszt Ferenc Memorial Year, and teacher conferences in the Dezső Győry, Kálmán Mikszáth, Géza Gárdonyi, Lajos Pósa and István Széchenyi Memorial Years in collaboration with the Slovak Hungarian Teachers' Association. ; ; Acknowledgements: ; • Teacher's Award – 2013 ; • Kulcsár Award - 2013 ; • Rimaszombat City Award - 2013 ; • SZMPSZ Memorial Medal - 2015 ; • Csemadok Lifetime Achievement Award - 2018 ; ; ; ;  ,
