Todor Schwarz

* Bakabánya, August 28, 1892 – † Bratislava, February 14, 1980 / gynecologist, university professor ; ; She completed her secondary school studies in Bánya Beszterce and Bratislava. She began her medical studies in Budapest, but after the change of empire, she completed them in Prague in 1920. She initially worked as a doctor in Prague, then moved to Bratislava, later became a hospital director in Túrócszentmárton, and finally was a professor at the head of the department of gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Košice. She was among the first in Slovakia to deal with the treatment of cancer.
