* Zvolen, 16 April 1826 – † Bánya Selmec, 14 April 1888 / metallurgical engineer, academic teacher ; ; He enrolled in the Bánya Selmec Academy in 1846, and after obtaining his engineering degree, he worked at the treasury mining department. In 1854, he conducted successful research on the amalgamation of black copper at the Bánya Bistriţa smelter. He was then the smelter manager in Zsarnóca. From 1870, he was a professor at the metallurgical department of the Bánya Selmec Mining and Forestry Academy. In addition to metallurgy, he dealt with issues of metal exploration, coinage and the establishment of metallurgical smelters.
