* Pusztafödémes, July 16, 1893 – † Pécs, June 11, 1957 / surgeon, university professor ; ; He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Budapest in 1920, but before that he served as a military doctor in World War I. From 1920 he was an assistant professor at the Budapest Pathology Institute, then at the Surgical Clinic in Debrecen. In 1930 he was a private teacher, in 1937 an extraordinary professor. From 1938 he was the chief physician at the Madarász Street Hospital in Budapest, and then at the Rókus Hospital. From 1949 he was a public full professor at the University of Pécs, and from 1949 until his death he was the director of the First Surgical Clinic. His work related to the surgical treatment of ulcers, stomach cancer, and tuberculosis is significant.
