* Ógyalla, September 17, 1847 – † Budapest, September 12, 1920 / journalist, botanist ; ; He studied law at the universities of Vienna and Pest. He was a doctor of law and a lawyer in 1872, and from 1873 he practiced law in Budapest until 1880, then in Bratislava until 1884. From 1872 he was a colleague, from 1884 he was an assistant editor, and from 1906 he was the editor-in-chief of Pester Lloyd. Between 1880 and 1884 he was the editor-in-chief of the Pressburger Zeitung. He wrote political, economic and legal articles for the Budapesti Szemle, legal journals and daily newspapers. In addition to writing poems and stories, he also dealt with botany and researching the flora of Hungary (e.g. the area around Nyitra, Bratislava, Dunaszerdahely, Ógyalla, Trencsénteplic, etc.). His botanical articles were mainly published in the Österreichische Botanische Zeitschrift and the Botanikai Közlemények.
