Between 1977 and 1986, he was the technical director of the Budapest Planetarium. He primarily excelled in the design and construction of astronomical technical equipment, and many of the reflecting telescopes he made came into the possession of astronomical circles and private individuals. He built an automatic star tracking device and expanded the Planetarium's visualization options with innovative technical tools and equipment. In 1971, among the opportunities available at the time, he managed to take the best images of the planet Mars in Hungary. He published regularly in the journals Meteor and Earth and Sky.
