He obtained a forestry engineering diploma in 1899 from the Mining and Forestry Academy in Bánya Selmec. From 1901 he was an assistant professor at the Academy, and from 1902 to 1904 he was the head of the timber harvesting and utilization department. During his time there, he established the Academy's orchard. Later, he worked in Transylvania and several places in present-day Hungary, and in Transylvania he built a 72 km long narrow-gauge forest railway. ; ; His main works: ; Hunting – weapon science (manuscript), 1903, ; Harvesting the dry fruits of the beech tree, 1906.
