* Ohaj, September 10, 1865 – † Budapest, January 8, 1922 / politician, economist; writer, minister; ; He studied at the Royal Hungarian Academy of Economics in Magyaróvár. In 1886–1890 he was an economic officer in Kunbaja. In 1889 he edited the Borászati Lapokat, and in 1891–1893 he edited the Köztelek newspaper, of which he was also the editor-in-chief for a while. From 1893 he was the executive secretary of the OMGE, and from 1906 its director. From 1901 he was also a member of parliament. After the fall of the Hungarian Council Republic (August 1919) he played a significant role in the Small Farmers' Party of István Nagyatádi Szabó (1863–1924). He was Minister of Agriculture and Trade between August 27, 1919 and December 18, 1920. He prepared the land reform bill, which Szabó Nagyatádi submitted to parliament without any changes. In 1921, he was elected honorary president of the Small Farmers' Party. He wrote numerous articles and books on economic topics.
