Working for the capital's Electric Works, he was active in all essential phases of electricity production and distribution. He participated in the establishment of the Mátra Power Plant. He carried out research work at the predecessors of the Electric Power Industrial Research Institute, primarily in the field of cooperation of electricity systems, and then he was the head of the load distribution operation service at the predecessor of the Hungarian Electric Works Trust. With the frequency and exchange power control system developed based on his suggestions and the experience of the network experiments he managed, the parallel operation of the electricity systems of four countries: Poland, the GDR, Czechoslovakia and Hungary was achieved. In addition to his work, he taught at the Budapest University of Technology for 20 years.
