* October 9, 1880, Gáva (Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county) - December 2, 1965, Nemesradnót (Gömör county) / miller, machine operator, member of the assembly ; ; Eszter Tomory, born Jánosné Rivnyák, was born in the village of Gáva, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, on October 9, 1880, to Reformed parents György Tomory and Mária Czombik. Her husband János Rivnyák was a Greek Catholic miller born in Tolcsva. The couple moved from Tolcsva to Fülek and then to Balogivány. In 1904, their first daughter, Malvin Rivnyák, Ilona, was born here. From there, they moved to Nemesradnót, where, putting down roots, doing their work, and raising their children, they became and remained Radnótians and Gömörians. In 1906, their second daughter, Olga Rivnyák, was born, Irén. ; János Rivnyák also worked in other, more distant places in addition to operating the Nemesradnót mill, so the operation of the Nemesradnót mill fell entirely on his wife. On March 31, 1912, János Rivnyák Tomory Eszter passed the machine operator exam in front of the boiler heating and machine operator examination committee in Besztercebánya, thus becoming the first successful woman in Hungary to obtain such a qualification. ; János Rivnyák participated in the First World War, where he was taken prisoner of war and spent a long time in Russia. ; On March 12, 1917, at a meeting of the Gömör millers in Bánréve, the Gömöri Molnárszövetséget was founded with its headquarters in Rimaszombat. Among the members of the board, János Rivnyák Tomory Eszter from the Feled district was elected. ; On February 18, 1925, a marriage took place in the Reformed Church of Nemesradnót: two daughters of the Rivnyák family: Rivnyák Malvin to Sándor Nagy, a mechanic from Rakottyás, and Rivnyák Irén to Dezső Nagy, a wheel manufacturer from Rakottyás, swore eternal loyalty. ; János Rivnyák later served alongside his son-in-law Sándor Nagy, a mechanic, and passed away on September 28, 1951. The mill was then operated by József Simon and his wife Rozália Boros. Rivnyákné née Eszter Tomory, died on December 2, 1965 after a long widowhood. Her activities were known and recognized in the village, everyone knew and proudly told others that she was the first female mechanic. ; The steam mill was completely destroyed, today only the ruins of the building can be seen. The Rivnyák (over time Hrivnyák) and Nagy families are buried in three adjacent graves marked with a common memorial in the Nemesradnót cemetery.
