* Nagysurány, January 11, 1894 – † Budapest, August 19, 1956 / architectural engineer, university professor ; ; He received his degree in 1921 from the Budapest University of Technology after his service in the battlefields of World War II. Between 1922 and 1938, he was an assistant professor at the Technical Mechanics Department of the Technical University, a lecturer on iron structures, and the head of the laboratory exercises entitled Strength Experiments. In 1938, he took over the management of the Experimental Station and participated in its development, partly with materials testing machines of his own design. The results of his research studies were also used in the industrial field, and he developed new testing methods for several building materials during standardization. In 1942, when the Station was closed, he was appointed to the Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Construction Laboratory of the Technical University. From 1950 he was a professor at the institute and continued to work on the testing of building materials. From the end of 1951 until his death he worked in the materials testing laboratory of the experimental plant of the Mélyépítő-ipari Betonelőgyártó Vállalat.
