* Nyitrakoros, c. 1650 – † Prešov, 4 August 1710 / Lutheran teacher, writer, historian ; ; He studied in Prešov and then in Wittenberg. In 1674 he was a teacher at the University of Torun in Poland. In 1683 he was a teacher and director of the Košice gymnasium, and from 1684 he was a teacher and director of the Prešov college. In 1687 Prešov fell into the hands of the emperors, their schools were taken from the Protestants, and he returned to Toruń as a teacher. In 1705, the Prešovians, who had regained their schools, recalled him as director. He wrote in Latin the history of the Prešov blood tribunal and Protestant education in Hungary.
