* Selmecbánya, April 7, 1865 – † Budapest, February 29, 1936 / mining engineer ; ; He completed his studies in Selmecbánya in 1888, then entered the state service and in 1896 was entrusted with the supervision of domestic petroleum exploration. From 1904 he was a professor of mining technology at the Selmecbánya and then Sopron Mining and Forestry College. He retired in 1927.
