* Hegybánya, March 6, 1887 – † Pilisszentiván, October 27, 1974 / forestry engineer, cave explorer, technical inventor ; ; He obtained a diploma from the Mining and Forestry Academy in Selmecbánya (1913). From 1913 he worked in Lippa, then in Recsk, and from 1926 at the Miskolc Forest Directorate. In Lillafüred (until 1929) he prepared a detailed tachymetric survey of the original terrain of the Palota Hotel, the hanging gardens and the planned beach bath, laid out the floor plan of the Palota Hotel and supervised the garden construction. He explored the area of the Anna and István stalactite caves, and in 1931 he completed the technical training of the István cave. In 1931–1932, he had alluvial stone dams built in the valleys of the Upper Tarna and Hangony. This invention of his was patented in 1938. He solved the problem of protecting the Csevice spring against freshwater infiltration in Parád. From 1939, he was the construction manager of the Rahó Forest Directorate. From 1945 until his retirement, he worked in Budapest. He was a member of the Austrian Speleologists' Association. He received the "Bronze Bear" commemorative plaque.
