* Felsőszeli, September 8, 1813 – † Somorja, July 4, 1892 / Roman Catholic priest, botanist ; ; He studied theology and philosophy in Nagyszombat, and was ordained a priest in 1836. He was a chaplain in several places (Vajkmártonfalva, Dunaszerdahely), and from 1842 until his death he was a parish priest in Somorja. He studied the flora in the vicinity of his places of operation, especially in the Csallóköz and the Little Carpathians, and published his articles on floristics mainly in the Oesterreichische botanische Zeitung.
