* Szklenófürdő, December 4, 1827 – † Bratislava, February 23, 1899 / literary and art historian, lawyer ; ; He completed high school in Körmöcbánya and Esztergom. He was a Catholic priest's student in Esztergom for three years, then studied law in Temesvár and Győr. He participated in the War of Independence of 1848/49, was an officer in the Komárom garrison. Later, the authorities harassed him several times, as he was suspected of mediating between the emigration and the domestic opposition circles. From 1865 he was the chief judge and president of the court of the city of Esztergom. From 1867 he practiced law in Esztergom, and then from 1889 in Bratislava. For several years he was the president of the Toldy circle in Bratislava.
