He obtained an engineering degree from the Budapest University of Technology in 1927. From then on, he worked at the Ganz Electricity Factory, and from 1932 he was the head of the device design department. He was one of the founders and developers of Hungarian high-current device production. He is credited with the introduction of 60 and 100 kV outdoor devices. It was his merit that Hungarian electrical machine production was able to become independent of foreign markets. He also did important work in the field of standardization and typification. His articles were published in the journals Heavy Industry and Electrical Engineering.
