* Érkeserű, 12 November 1726 – † Cseklész, 15 September 1773 / Jesuit monk, mathematics teacher, textbook writer ; ; He entered the Jesuit order in 1746. He taught mathematics at the University of Nagyszombat, later philosophy in Buda, and then again church and world history in Nagyszombat. From 1769 until his death, he was a parish priest in Cseklész. He wrote a physics book and other textbooks that were modern in his time, in which he also popularized the teachings of Newton and Bosković (1711–1787), Croatian physicists and astronomers. ; ; He also published works in Latin and Hungarian ; (e.g. Szerencsés hadi esete to Saint Ignatius of Loyola…, 1759, ; Institutiones physicae, 1766).
