Neither the Tatars, nor the Turks, nor the other conquerors could defeat them in this. ; We must not forget that even a tree, in order to grow a strong trunk, fruit, and creative crown, must develop strong roots firmly rooted in the ground. Let us think of our noble ancestors, Petőfi, Tompá, or Lujzá Blaha, who all truly claimed a small part of their homeland as their own. The place where they were born, where they first marveled at the laws of life. ; Let us also be loyal and faithful to our homeland, regardless of when and where the great powers draw the borders. ; Let us not forget that other peoples and nationalities lived with our ancestors for centuries, just as they did with us. live. They were together in good and bad times, because they belonged together. We must continue to nurture this tradition. After all, a tree with strong roots not only resists the storm, but also bears fruit and provides shade. The fruit and shade are also due to others. So let us also be understanding and tolerant of other people living in our village and the surrounding area, because based on the experience of our ancestors, this can only be our honor,” writes Dénes Pál. ; ; The publication also fits well with the regional reading book titled The Place Where We Live, published by the Slovak Hungarian Teachers’ Association. ; The book was christened on November 24, 2012 in Nagybalog. ; Its first presentation was held on December 12, 2012, also in Nagybalog, organized by the Csemadok Nagybalog Foundation.
